Forget the Dodge Viper or even the Bugatti Veyron, GM claims the Camaro Z28 boasts the widest front tires of any production automobile. And it has been said that it can beat both a Nissan GT-R and a Porsche 911 Turbo S when the road gets twisty.
How could Chevrolet do such a thing? The eight-speed automatic was one thing, but a Z06 convertible? How could they change the beloved, manual transmission only, fixed roof coupe into a slush-box drop-top?
Oh yeah: money. Chevrolet is in the business of selling cars. And if they can make a profit by selling a particular model, they should. Regardless of how pointless the car is.

Today’s comic was pretty much written by my father. We were emailing each other about the sinkhole, and since he came up with the perfect premise, I decided it would be fruitless to try to improve upon it.
